I have to disagree that this version is better than the original. The wall of sound is more like the wall of drowned. This method is why modern music is hard for many people to listen to for any length of time. It feels harsh on my ears when compared to the original. By the way the original is probably one of my favorite songs from ng.

At any rate in the original everything sounded crisp and in this version everything just kind of overlaps and sounds mashed together or something I can't really describe it but it's not a good thing.

Infact, this version is much less wall-of-soundy than the original and includes all of the bass frequencies. I cut them out in the original to avoid clipping because I was such a n00b at mastering.

In the end it depends on what settings you're using - perhaps you're using a custom EQ setting on Winamp which interferes with this particular version, or maybe your speakers/headphones are on the way out???

Something to think about

Never give those who dislike your work any consideration they are meaningless numbers. Only give your attention to the people who actually enjoy your work they are the only ones that matter here. It doesn't matter if 500 thousand people dislike your work if there are 50 thousand that love it. Does that make sense?

I love this one

This has to be one of my favorite tracks at the moment. It just fits no matter how your feeling when it starts playing.

Needs some work but...

I dig the sound. The biggest thing I noticed right off was the harsh transition from one tone to another on the guitar. My advise there is try to find a creative way to smooth the transition from one tone to another.

Aside from that this is pretty damn good.
