HA I hear those FF battle inspired bits in there and I am loving it.

Seriously I can't tell you recorded this with a phone because of heard so much worse from people with equipment that they paid shit tons of money for.

You cannot make up for a lack of skill with the best equipment and equally so you cannot hide true talent by using even the poorest of the poor mans equipment remember that.

LimeDisciple responds:

Thank you so much, definitely one of the best reviews I've ever recieved. Rock and roll man.

Recorded with the worst equipment possible and it still sounds better than 70% of the stuff in this category that makes me smile. If I could afford to replace your equipment myself I would just because of this right here.

LimeDisciple responds:

I can't tell you how much that means to me, a review that stands out above the general compliments that most listeners will post (not just on my stuff, but other users). Thank you so much dude, I really appreciate that.

You know what I hate about this song the most? How all the "Remixes" are just the original with changed instruments and a solo added at one point or another. This happened so much I lost interest in the song from hearing it over and over with minimal variation.

I find this to be a very very pleasant break from that for a change and it makes this song worth listening to again. I also think that enough of the original is there to make it relevant to fans while sounding different but not so much so that fans no longer find it doing justice to the source. When remixing this is probably the most critical thing to keep in mind and balancing it is probably not easy either.

Even though this is not my style of music AT ALL I have to say the production quality is really good. And damn those cymbals crashing the first time caught me off guard lol that part was fucking awesome it really grabbed my attention when it happened.

I ended up listening to this all the way through just because some of the things in it were actually keeping me engaged in it even though like I said not my style. That should say a lot I hope.

Twistedsanta responds:

Wow, it's one thing for me to please someone who's into this style, but to appeal to someone who doesn't typically listen to this type really makes me feel accomplished! If it's one thing a musician loves to hear, it's that their music/songs can keep someone's interest and hearing that from you really makes me feel great. Thanks so much!

This actually sounds more like music from chrono trigger since the part around 1 - 1:30 where it slows introduces a tune that was shared between both games. I can't actually recognize the chrono cross elements since the dominant sounds I do recognize are shared if that makes sense.

The part I talk of is used in the chrono trigger opening sequence and again throughout the game at points if I remember right. It was also used in chrono cross but it was slightly varied from the original and what you have here sounds to me more like the original.

Still that was some good shit I like it a lot.

Your vocals remind me of manson a lot I love it. Even the rough version of this sounds better than a lot of other stuff I generally hear around this place. Good stuff man keep it up you got what it takes that's for damn sure.

industrialplayground responds:

Thanks a lot I appreciate it.

I have heard so many different versions of this song but so far this is the only one that really does it any justice.

Yeah this is better than the original mainly because the hardware it was originally played back on was garbage. This has a lot more clarity to it and that as a side effect lets you hear everything the way you should have been able to.

I am currently playing through this game and I just got to this area. This is like my third run through the game now I think. twice on the emulator and now once on the real deal. Still one of my favorite tunes from the game.

Cool combination. It follows the megaman structure as far as the composition goes but it harkens back to the classic castlevania games with the instrument choices. Pretty interesting.

Vahnson responds:

I was really going for that since the song is based on a robot master that resides in a "haunted" mansion.
