Has to be the metroid 2 ending tune from the gameboy. If so that is a wicked choice for a sample. Put to some damned good use to. Let me know if I got that one right will ya :)

I am digging this a lot. I keep hearing a lot of talk about the mix. I had assumed you were trying to go for a sound similar to what classic recording equipment sounded like. To me it just made the whole thing sound vintage really. I wouldn't necessarily change that unless you can clean it up and still have it sound as if it were recorded on vintage equipment. I miss music like this personally. I wish more people would put together pieces like this.

I love this one. Great piece that could be used for a variety of things. I love the evil sound it has going on very suspenseful.

This is surely going the right way. I like what you have so far. Not a huge fan of the more chaotic segment before it transitions but that's just me so keep going with this.

Well I can't be 100% but the drums sound like they are to hard. I say that because using headphones the lowest parts are bottoming but that could just be my cheap headset. I would have to hear this over something better to tell for sure. The whole thing sounds pretty deep. That's good really but I would suggest something to offset that otherwise it sounds kinda muddy even though it really isn't. Toss some mid in to counter things. The highs are high and everything else is so much lower it sounds weird. Anyhow aside from that it sounds awesome. Can't wait to see where this goes.
