Dude sweet! Nice style too a great way to present the entire idea behind this.

Hey glad you dig it :)
Thanks a lot!
Yeah this is top notch. What medium was used for this one?
A regular pencil, a pen and colored pencils.
You gotta work on your room perspective. The tops of the bookshelves go in a different direction than the doorway. Both objects should and would be aligned. Other than that this is pretty good. I think the lighting was a decent idea. It seems pretty accurate to me with shadows going in the proper directions etc.
Thank you for the honest critique. It was my first experience with perspectives, so I will definitely try to work on that!
I only ever played jet grind radio the original on the dreamcast like 12 years ago now. I always wanted to check out the newer games in the series but never got around to it.
You gotta checkout JSRF! You can probably find it for like 10 dollars at a vintage game store, make sure u play it, its amazing as hell!
That's a good piece I like it.
Nice
This should be a poster in the shop.
I agree
The watermark means little. I also have a DA account and could just pull things from there if I wanted but it would contain the same mark. But the mark would not mean that I stole the art.
I should knock a few points off because of that mark but I also suffer from chronic lazyness so I will forgive it.
Questionable
I have a hard time with this one. Not so much that I think it was copied from the game because I can tell there are differences. But the biggest problem for me is that it is so close to the original that it does make it questionable. Also if this was truely done from scratch in paint then your probably the most talented paint user I have ever seen. That fact alone also makes this questionable.
Either way this is still nothing more than a copy of the background from an SNES game and being so close to the original I have to wonder if it really belongs in the art portal. Now had this been some kind of hi-res version or had some other stylistic touches to it then it would not have been a question at that point.
Personally speaking though as a fan of the game I like this. But as an art portal viewer not so much.
