[Popeye's Adventure]

Yeah

I'm not even going to knock off points for the art and animation. Sure the animation on it's own is pretty terrible (no offense) but the length of the movie would have meant a lot of time spent just detailing and smoothing out the animation and well if your not completely motivated then that would be a hard thing to do. So considering all things as a whole this was pretty good.

The music and story in general were pretty sweet. Had you actually spent the time to make this something more it would have been something to be proud of. The concept is something that I really liked. Taking popeye and tossing him into a fantasy setting where he beats the living fuck out of all kinds of crazy shit is just plain awesome on it's own lol.

You really should take the time to put the detail in the next time around I think your capable of making something outstanding and you shouldn't question if people will watch it or how detailed you should make it. If you spend the time to make the detail it will be something you can be proud of and people will watch it and they will vote 5.

You should consider ironing this one out and re-posting it at some point. You have something worth investing the time on.

Considering that the other day I had just thought to myself that the style was way over used lately I found this rather amusing.

Now that was a surprise. Funny as hell too. I like shorts like this one. Surprising, funny, Well drawn, and not a lot of time taken to watch it.

Not Bad

Looks good to me. I think if you add all of your clips to a single movie and add a menu to select the scenes it would be decent.

Amazing

True top notch sound and animation. The story is compelling and interesting. I really have nothing but good things to say this is probably one of the best animations i have ever seen here at NG.

Feels unfinished

Decently animated but the lack of sound makes it feel unfinished or something. You don't need music but you do need some sort of sound effects. This was also extremely short. You should wait until you have a decent amount of play time before releasing these. To many small episodes will cause a loss of interest for viewers.

Make these a little longer add some sounds and you will have something good.

About the files

If your using flash and not some other program to make animations then you get a .swf or you should if you export the movie properly. That file can be opened by internet explorer or firefox and there is also a small flash movie player you can download that will open them also. The flash movie player is better than a browser because it allows you to pause the movie control the volume and has a slider for the timeline. It's called fmp.exe and you can google it for a download.

Not bad

Considering this is done by someone in 8th grade I would say you have natural talent. If you keep working with flash I can see some pretty epic stuff coming from you in the future.

Audio...

I love the series but couldn't watch this one because of the audio issue. You gotta fix your mic before doing voice acting man seriously. Aside from that this is great. But I would really really recommend fixing the audio in this.

was it really that bad? turn the bass down, the guy who exported it for me even improved the audio lol, this cartoon had the best audio out of all of my cartoons... ya i really gotta buy a new mic and recording system
