This is some good shit man.

TSRBand responds:

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Let us download this dammit! Seriously though I would love to listen to this in my playlist while kicking ass in games.

PirateCrab responds:

Oh... fine, you drive a hard bargain sir! ;)

The quality is actually pretty decent. If I had to suggest something to improve it then I would say try cleaning up the little bits of fuzzing and crackling. There wasn't much of it and it wasn't super noticeable but getting rid of any little bits like that would make it sound that much better. Overall though pretty nice track I like it and it has a memorable sound.

TheLitch responds:

Thanks for the feed back. The tech I used at the time, about 3 years ago, was almost analog. Since then I've done much better at mastering and recording in general. I don't get paid for any of my music so considering I did this by myself I'm still proud and thank you for the support (:

Jazz is such a strange genre because it has so many forms to it. This doesn't sound like jazz to a lot of people I think mainly because everyone is used to hearing the most common typical forms of it with a lot of brass instrument etc. I think it's great that people get to hear a different side of jazz something less common.

giovanni808 responds:

Encouraging review.. I agree, I hear a lot of jazz and there are so many forms of it! Jazzradio has like 30-40 different channels.. I think it is jazz because of the chords and swing of the song, but I think the fill-ins and intro solos are a bit bluesy!

It's really not mediocre the production quality is top notch on this. This sounds as good as anything I've ever heard produced for a studio album. I think you have a decent chance at making some loot if you plan to put together albums for sale. The quality is there and if people like the music I think they will pay for it.

Free2Play responds:

Thanks man!

I think I'm starting to like my music a little more. It is weird to look back even a year and see how much I've progressed. I've honestly already done a compialiation album on bandcamp and that compared to what I'm making now makes my old stuff look pretty bad.

I'm going to try and learn more tricks to get the most out of my sound particularly in mixing and mastering.

Thanks for the review it means a lot!

I don't think I could have found anything better than this to start my day off today. Now I feel inspired to do something.

XxCowMeatxX responds:

except bacon... bacon is always a great way to start off your day ;D

I really like this one a lot it has a certain sound and mood about it that reminds me of some things.

johnfn responds:

Hmm that is fairly ambiguous but who am I to judge! Thanks!

I don't know if I would have classified it as punk though it does have some punk elements to it. I think there are enough other elements to this to outweigh the amount of punk elements but music classification isn't always cut and dry either you know? Ah just my take on it I like this though it's pretty good and the production quality is nice.

AudioLion responds:

You know, I was back and forth about that for the longest time. At first submitted it as Heavy Metal, then felt like it wasn't really heavy enough. So, I switched it to Punk, and felt like that was a mistake. Moved it to Heavy Metal and then back to Punk, then realized I wasn't doing anyone any favors lol. Ultimately, I think you are right. This sits in a more Hardcore or Metal genre. Anyway, thanks for the review and the thoughts!

This actually reminds me a lot of children of bodom in some ways. I like it a lot and wouldn't mind hearing more like it.

AudioLion responds:

Thank you! Alexi Laiho is amazing and Bodom is to this day still one of my favorite bands. Hate Crew Deathroll will forever be one of my favorites. First time I have ever been compared to the likes of Bodom, so, you Sir have just made my day. Thanks again for the review!

Pretty good piece. Lots of emotion in it.

Bosa responds:

Thank you, friend.
